About the role

Our team is great, but you can help make it better.

As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the development of robust and scalable web applications for the Raydiant Employee Engagement product, ensuring seamless integration across the front-end and back-end. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize new features, driving product innovation. Your expertise in AWS services, Ruby on Rails and React will be crucial in maintaining code quality and performance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.

The role is remote, but ideally, candidates will be based in the Vancouver area, where Raydiant already has a presence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for the Raydiant Employee Engagement product
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Drive the architecture and implementation of new features
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Work closely with DevOps engineers to streamline deployment processes
  • Ensure high application performance and reliability with minimal downtime

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer
  • Thrive in start-up or fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in Ruby on Rails development
  • Strong skills in JavaScript, particularly with React
  • Extensive experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, DocumentDB and RDS
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain scalable web applications
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for code quality and performance optimization
  • Experience with POS such as Toast or Square is a plus
