About the Role

Raydiant is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy new automated tests.

You will contribute directly as part of our IoT product engineering team building amazing new features for our rapidly growing customer base, which spans over eight major verticals and includes both brick-and-mortar/customer-facing as well as enterprise/employee-facing features. In this role, the Quality Automation Engineer will work within a scrum team, reporting to the QA Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Communicates well with other engineers, documenting requests and updating everyone on progress
  • Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on risk and impact analysis.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
  • Able to break down a feature design into component tasks and guide other developers on execution

What We Are Looking For

  • Computer Science, Physics, Math, Engineering, Chemistry, or related BA/BS degree

  • 3+ years of professional experience, working in a software company with the title of QA Automation Engineer, Manual QA, Member of Technical Staff, or higher

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Checkly, or GitLab CI.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Agile software development experience

Salary

A salary range of 2400 - 2800 Euro gross/month, based on experience.
