About Zipline

Do you want to change the world? Zipline is on a mission to transform the way goods move. Our aim is to solve the world’s most urgent and complex access challenges by building, manufacturing, and operating the first instant delivery and logistics system that serves all humans equally, wherever they are. From powering Rwanda’s national blood delivery network and Ghana’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution to providing on-demand home delivery for Walmart to enabling healthcare providers to bring care directly to U.S. homes, we are transforming how things move for businesses, governments, and consumers.

The technology is complex, but the idea is simple: a teleportation service that delivers what you need, when you need it. Through our technology, which includes robotics and autonomy, we are decarbonizing delivery, decreasing road congestion, and reducing fossil fuel consumption and air pollution, while providing equitable access to billions of people and building a more resilient global supply chain.

About You and The Role

  • Zipline is growing fast globally, and we are committed to using analytics to inform how we build and scale our team innovatively.
  • This includes:
    • Implementing an innovative and equitable compensation strategy and program that enables us to attract and retain exceptional talent around the world
    • Analyzing headcount data in creative ways to inform strategic decisions made by key stakeholders and key business leaders across the company
    • Being a thought partner in thinking through how we develop, maintain, and improve People-related systems at Zipline
  • You will feel fulfilled in this role if you enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-ownership culture, have quantitative rigor and strong Excel skills, have excellent communication skills, and are excited by the challenge of contributing to Zipline’s future and success!

What You'll Do

  • Partner on the Compensation Team! We drive forward key compensation topics across the 8+ countries we operate in and think through how to develop our strategy for new countries we’ll launch in. Topics include new hire offers, parity analyses, biannual company-wide compensation review cycles, and compensation strategy.
  • Be the subject matter expert for people analytics on several topics (e.g., attrition, DEI, headcount growth, ad-hoc requests!), with audiences spanning all of Zipline, anywhere from the full company to leadership.
  • Support People initiatives spanning all of Zipline. This may include thinking through how we can build scalable performance management initiatives, improve recruiting practices, understand company sentiment on critical topics, etc.

What You'll Bring

  • You have 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, or similar fields. You are comfortable serving as a “general athlete” who can do some of everything!
  • You are an Excel wizard and can build and manage complex models from start to finish - everything from building the model itself to owning and communicating actionable insights.
  • You can communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) and build strong relationships with internal business teams.
  • You are comfortable working in cross-functional environments and can navigate seamlessly between different functions, skill sets, and perspectives.
  • You have strong project management and organizational skills; you like to drive process and accountability within an organization.
  • You are data-driven but committed to supporting fast-paced, “good, not perfect” decision-making.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.
