About You and The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Operations Lead to oversee and manage our organization's IT infrastructure and operations. As an IT Operations Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and services. Your strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our IT operations strategy.

What You'll Do

IT Operations Management: Lead and manage the IT operations team, overseeing daily activities, setting priorities, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations of all IT systems, services, processes, and the Help Desk.

Administration of SaaS platforms: Monitor and manage users in all SaaS platforms that serve Zipline.

Incident and Problem Management: Lead the response to IT incidents and problems, coordinating with technical teams to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.

Procurement: Monitor system usage and plan for future growth by forecasting resource needs and recommending hardware or software upgrades.

Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide IT operations team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Process Improvement: Continuously assess and optimize IT processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and automation where applicable.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate IT operational status, updates, and potential impacts to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

Budget Management: Collaborate with the IT leadership team to manage the IT operations budget, making cost-effective decisions that align with organizational goals.

A/V Management: Oversee all A/V operations and equipment including but not limited to video conferencing, soundboard management, mobile a/v stations, occasional off-site event set-ups.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations management, with a strong track record of overseeing complex IT environments.

Expertise in IT security practices, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with cloud technologies and migration strategies in the following is a plus:

  • Okta
  • Jira
  • Jamf
  • Workspace One
  • Google Workspace
  • Odoo

What Else You Need to Know

The starting cash range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
