About the Role

In this role, you'll be instrumental in optimizing financial processes and records, while supporting key financial operations in coordination with Supply Chain, Inventory, and Operations teams. You'll play a critical part in maintaining compliance with internal controls and GAAP, including supporting the procurement and payables function. Review vendor invoices against contract terms (pricing, payment terms, discounts, freight) to confirm billing accuracy. Identify and resolve discrepancies, escalating material variances as needed. Support AP aging and payment timing to optimize cash flow.

  • Analysis & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement to translate financial results into actionable insights, including margin analysis by product line, customer, or sales channel. Assist with cash flow forecasting and ad hoc financial modeling.
  • Discrepancy Resolution & Process Improvement: Identify slow-paying accounts, recommend collection candidates, and help streamline financial processes.
  • Financial Integrity & Reporting: Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial reporting; process incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) in compliance with banking regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
