Operations Coordinator – Cannabis Manufacturing

📍 Las, Vegas, Nevada

🏭 Cannabis Production / Manufacturing

🕒 Full-Time

Pay: $22-26/hr.

A leading vertically integrated cannabis operator is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to support its infusion and pre-roll manufacturing department in Nevada.

This company is one of the largest multi-state cannabis producers in the U.S., operating across cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution. With active operations in multiple states and continued expansion underway, they manage the entire production lifecycle—from premium flower cultivation to finished packaged goods—ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation at every stage.

Position Overview

The Operations Coordinator acts as the right hand to the Production Manager and plays a critical role in overseeing daily floor operations within the infusion and pre-roll manufacturing department.

This is a highly hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate comes from a structured, regulated production environment such as pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, nutraceutical, or cosmetics—where sanitation, documentation, compliance, and process control are essential.

You will directly manage a team of 8–12 Infusion and Production Technicians and must be confident stepping in to lead operations when the Production Manager is off-site.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Production Oversight & Floor Leadership

  • Supervise daily infusion and pre-roll manufacturing activities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8–12 technicians
  • Enforce strict adherence to SOPs and regulated production standards
  • Oversee milling, oil infusion, terpene integration, batch release, and dosing accuracy
  • Maintain consistency, homogeneity, and product integrity
  • Step into hands-on production roles as needed to maintain throughput

🔹 Operational Execution & KPI Management

  • Track daily output, efficiency metrics, and production benchmarks
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Optimize labor allocation across shifts
  • Support yield optimization and waste reduction initiatives
  • Maintain accurate production reporting and documentation

🔹 Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Enforce sanitation protocols, PPE standards, and contamination controls
  • Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and seed-to-sale tracking
  • Oversee batch records, inventory logs, and lab submission processes
  • Partner with QA to ensure all products meet internal and third-party standards
  • Maintain a cGMP-style disciplined production environment

🔹 Inventory & Materials Coordination

  • Monitor on-floor inventory including biomass, extracts, terpenes, and packaging materials
  • Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to prevent disruptions
  • Support reconciliation and inventory integrity processes

🔹 Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as operational lead in the absence of the Production Manager
  • Collaborate with QA, warehousing, packaging, and supply chain teams
  • Train technicians on infusion techniques and compliance procedures
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, cleanliness, and process discipline

Ideal Background

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, food production, nutraceutical, cosmetics, or other regulated manufacturing industries
  • Strong understanding of batch manufacturing and controlled formulations
  • Comfortable leading from the production floor
  • Experience launching new products into production lines is a plus
  • Strong math skills and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to balance operational efficiency with regulatory compliance

Work Environment

  • Regulated cannabis manufacturing facility
  • Strict PPE adherence required
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Fast-paced production setting

Why This Role Matters

Infused pre-roll production requires precision dosing, process control, and strict regulatory adherence. This role directly impacts product quality, operational efficiency, and brand integrity within a rapidly scaling multi-state operator.

This is a high-visibility opportunity with strong growth potential.
