Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual – English/Spanish)
Compensation: $60-80k (w/ potential to go higher DOE)

A leading, fast-growing cannabis operator in California is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a growing workforce across multiple HR functions. This is a hands-on role ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working closely with both employees and leadership in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to attendance, workplace conduct, and policy adherence
- Partner with supervisors and managers on performance conversations and corrective action documentation
- Assist with employee relations investigations and issue resolution as needed
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles
- Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding activities
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
HRIS & Data Management
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Assist with headcount, turnover, and compliance reporting
- Support audits, system updates, and process improvements
Benefits & Compensation Support
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and basic administration questions
- Support compensation changes, promotions, and job updates
- Partner with HR leadership during annual reviews and benefits renewals
Compliance & Policy Support
- Ensure HR practices align with internal policies and state/federal regulations
- Support compliance, safety, and workplace training initiatives
- Assist with documentation for audits and regulatory requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, manufacturing, and leadership teams
- Assist with special HR projects as the organization grows
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 2–4+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role
- Working knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, and HR administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Comfortable working in a regulated, fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with HRIS platforms
- Background in manufacturing, agriculture, cannabis, or other regulated industries
- Interest in long-term growth into HR leadership
