Job Description:

As the Director of Content Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the Content Marketing team and driving the development and execution of comprehensive content marketing strategies. Leveraging data-driven insights and customer-centric approaches, you will lead initiatives to attract, engage, and retain customers while aligning content efforts with our business goals and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a holistic content marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and resonates with our target audience.
  • Lead a team of content writers and designers to create high-quality and engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and more.
  • Identify and understand different customer segments to tailor content that addresses their specific pain points and needs, implementing personalization strategies to maximize customer engagement.
  • Utilize various channels, including social media, email marketing, and content syndication, to distribute and promote content effectively, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure content reaches the right audience at the right time.
  • Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and organic search rankings, continuously analyzing content performance and optimizing based on data insights to improve search engine visibility and content effectiveness.
  • Utilize content marketing as a lead generation tool, creating content that drives prospects through the conversion funnel and implementing lead capture strategies to nurture leads effectively.
  • Track and analyze content marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, providing regular reports to stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align content marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in content marketing.
  • Experience in the media analytics space (on site of social media) a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content marketing strategies that drive business growth and achieve measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS industry trends and best practices, with the ability to stay updated on the latest developments and innovations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms, such as chartbeat.com and tubularlabs.com, to derive actionable insights and optimize content performance.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, able to translate business objectives into compelling content strategies and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
