We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Business Development team! As a Senior Account Executive at Talkspace, you will focus on driving growth within the Mid-Market segment on a national scale. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic, results-driven individual with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build lasting relationships with senior-level decision-makers across various industries.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring that Talkspace’s solutions meet the unique needs of organizations in the mid-market space. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the best client experience and contribute to the company’s overall revenue goals.

*This is a remote position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC*

What You’ll Do

  • Sales Leadership: Take ownership of your sales territory, focusing on Mid-Market
    accounts with a national scope. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive
    revenue growth in alignment with Talkspace’s business objectives
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, target, and prospect potential clients
    across various industries, leveraging inbound leads, outbound outreach, and
    networking.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Engage with senior decision-makers (HR leaders, C-
    suite executives, benefits managers, and other key stakeholders) to understand
    their organizational needs and provide tailored mental health solutions through
    Talkspace.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and lead
    qualification to negotiating and closing contracts. Ensure a smooth handoff to the
    customer success and implementation teams.
  • Pipeline Development & Reporting: Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of
    opportunities in Salesforce, forecast accurately, and meet/exceed sales targets.
    Provide regular updates on progress, obstacles, and key wins.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success,
    and Product teams to align on messaging, client needs, and deliverables.
  • Industry & Market Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity,
    and evolving customer needs to position Talkspace as a thought leader and trusted
    partner.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with
    key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring clients’ continued satisfaction with
    Talkspace’s services.

About You

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to
    the mid-market segment (500-2,000 employees) at a national level, preferably in
    SaaS, healthcare, or employee benefits sectors.
  • Expertise in managing a complex sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, mental health, wellness programs, or
    corporate healthcare solutions is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional consultative sales skills with the ability to engage and build relationships
    with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM tools, especially Salesforce, to track and manage sales
    activities.
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas
    and objectives.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-
    paced, remote environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively
    articulate complex solutions to a diverse audience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25-30% of the time).

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $120,000 - $130,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
