We're seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to lead our security organization during a critical growth phase. As our CISO, you'll build and scale a modern, developer-first security program that enables velocity without compromising our security posture.

The Challenge

Engineering teams have rapidly adopted AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development, but our traditional security tools weren't built for this new paradigm.

We need a leader who can:

• Eliminate our vulnerability backlog while preventing new issues from entering the pipeline
• Build real shift-left security practices that developers actually adopt, not just policy on paper
• Govern AI-assisted development with proper guardrails and visibility
• Reduce security friction between AppSec and engineering teams
• Consolidate our security tooling to reduce alert fatigue and improve outcomes

What You'll Own

• Security strategy and execution for a cloud-native organization (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Application security program for modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code environments
• Developer security enablement and training programs that integrate into workflows
• Compliance and governance frameworks for regulated environments
• Security tooling rationalization and vendor management
• Building and leading a high-performing AppSec team

Who You Are

• 10+ years in security leadership roles, with 5+ years leading AppSec or product security teams
• Deep experience securing modern SDLC environments with 50+ software engineers
• Track record of implementing developer-first security programs that improve both velocity and posture
• Hands-on knowledge of SAST, SCA, IaC security, and emerging AI code security challenges
• Experience with security in fintech, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred
• Strong technical background with understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud architectures
