Staircase Studios AI is looking for an AI Artist to support AI-driven film, television, commercial, and pitch-related projects. This role is for someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable using the latest AI image and video tools to generate polished visual work.

You should be familiar with best-in-class AI tools, including Seedance, Runway, Kling, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Nano, Veo, and other emerging platforms. More importantly, you should have a strong eye for cinematic composition, style, character consistency, and storytelling.

This is a remote role, but we need someone who can communicate clearly, take feedback well, hit deadlines, and manage work across multiple active projects.

What You'll Do

• Create AI-generated images, videos, visual development, pitch materials, and production assets.
• Use tools like Seedance and other leading AI platforms to generate high-quality creative work.
• Translate scripts, briefs, references, and creative direction into strong visual outputs.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback from creative leads, producers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Support multiple projects at once while staying organized and deadline-focused.
• Help develop characters, locations, props, moods, styles, and shot concepts.
• Maintain visual consistency across projects, scenes, and characters.
• Collaborate remotely with creative, production, design, and editorial teams.
• Stay current with new AI tools, workflows, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• A strong portfolio showing AI-generated images, videos, character work, environments, commercials, trailers, pitch materials, or related creative projects.
• Hands-on experience with AI image and/or video tools.
• Familiarity with Seedance or a willingness to quickly learn it.
• Strong visual taste and an understanding of composition, lighting, mood, style, and cinematic storytelling.
• Ability to take direction and apply feedback quickly.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once without losing track of details.
• Strong communication skills in a remote work environment.
• Deadline-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• A practical understanding of AI generation limits, iteration, prompting, references, and post-production cleanup.

Nice to Have

• Experience in film, television, advertising, animation, visual development, or branded content.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, ComfyUI, or similar creative tools.
• Experience creating consistent characters, locations, props, or shot sequences across multiple generations.
• Experience working from scripts, shot lists, moodboards, or creative briefs.
• Ability to do light editing, compositing, cleanup, or image finishing.
