In This Role, You Will:
- Take ownership of writing deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices as outlined by the Technical Writing team
- Follow and apply the style guide to all documentation
- Complete assigned work in a timely manner and provide regular updates on progress
- Seek and apply feedback to improve documentation quality
- Prioritize tasks effectively and participate in team meetings
- Demonstrate a positive attitude when working through challenges
- Forge positive relationships within the team and across departments
- In collaboration with the Taxonomy group, manage and improve Confluence organization and architecture, including tagging/labeling and architecture
- Maintain pages in Technology and other designated spaces
- Ensure Confluence spaces are regularly archived with tools or manual processes
- Work closely with Taxonomy and Enterprise Services to optimize search and platform usage
Here's What You Need:
- Strong command of written English, with the ability to write elegant, readable prose free of grammatical and spelling errors
- Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, accessible instructions
- Proficiency in proofreading and editing
- Candidates must demonstrate current understanding of AI advancements through measurable AI education and upskilling (such as certifications, coursework, or active participation in AI communities)
- Awareness of ethical and legal considerations in AI, including bias, fairness, transparency, and compliance with data privacy regulations
- Background in Information Architecture or library science
- Some familiarity with proofer’s marks and style guides
- Python or other coding experience with VS Code
- Familiarity with Markdown documentation and static site generators, HTML or XML
- Previous experience with AI-assisted search/authoring, tagging strategies, and SEO
