We are seeking a Lead Order-to-Cash (O2C) Analyst with deep expertise in Oracle E‑Business Suite (Oracle EBS) and strong functional knowledge of billing and revenue cycles. This India-based, hybrid evening shift role will work closely with global finance and IT teams to support, optimize, and enhance our end-to-end order-to-cash processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience integrating Oracle EBS with upstream CRM systems such as Salesforce (SFDC), and can serve as a bridge between Finance and IT, driving functional design, solution delivery, and continuous process efficiency across North America, Europe, and APAC regions.
In This Role, You Will:
Order-to-Cash Process & Oracle EBS Support
- Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Service Contracts, Accounts Receivable, and related O2C modules, with a focus on billing and revenue cycles.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order capture, invoicing, credit/debit notes, revenue recognition, and collections.
- Monitor and support period-end activities affecting the order-to-cash cycle (billing runs, adjustments, revenue processing).
CRM / SFDC Integration
- Work closely with business and IT teams to support integrations between external CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC) and Oracle EBS.
Ensure accurate and timely data flow from CRM to Oracle EBS, including orders, pricing, customer data, and billing triggers. - Analyze integration failures and coordinate with technical teams to triage, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.
Bridge Between Finance and IT
- Act as the primary functional liaison between Finance users and IT/technical teams for order-to-cash related enhancements and projects.
- Translate finance business requirements into functional specifications and work with technical teams on solution design and delivery.
- Participate in system design reviews, configuration decisions, testing (SIT/UAT), and production deployments.
Process Excellence & Efficiency
- Evaluate current O2C processes, controls, and system usage to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Take the lead in driving efficiency, standardization, and automation across billing and revenue processes globally.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and training materials for end users.
- Lead discussions with analytics and data teams to define finance and O2C requirements for the next-generation, enterprise-wide data warehouse and related reporting solutions.
Global Stakeholder Support
- Support finance and operations teams across US and India, with a primary focus on users in India, bridging communication and coordination between these regions and considering region-specific requirements and timelines.
Work in an evening shift to ensure effective overlap with North American and European stakeholders. - Support local compliance needs, reporting, and operational nuances within the global O2C framework.
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in an Order-to-Cash, Billing, AR, or Revenue operations/analyst role.
- Demonstrated experience working with external CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC) as the upstream order and customer data source into Oracle EBS.
Experience supporting global operations covering multiple regions. - Prior work in a global company with distributed teams and cross-time zone collaboration.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end O2C processes: order capture, billing, invoicing, revenue processing, collections, and adjustments.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS data model, setups, and configurations in the O2C domain.
- Understanding in integrations (interfaces, APIs, or middleware) between ERP and peripheral systems.
- Proficiency in SQL/Excel for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reconciliation is a plus.
- Ability to create functional design documents, test cases, and user guides.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both Finance and IT/technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; comfortable leading root-cause analysis and driving solutions.
- AI & Digital Enablement
Drive adoption of AI capabilities within finance processes, including:
- AI-assisted reconciliations and anomaly detection in GL and subledgers
- Predictive analytics for revenue, cash flow, and expense forecasting
- Intelligent document processing for invoices and financial data extraction
- Natural language query/reporting tools to improve access to financial insights
- Partnering with IT to integrate AI solutions with Oracle EBS and adjacent system setups
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) specifically as the upstream CRM for Oracle EBS.
- Exposure to revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606/IFRS 15) and their implementation in Oracle EBS.
- Experience working in a SaaS, subscription, or high-volume transactional environment.
- Prior involvement in ERP/CRM implementation, rollout, or major enhancement projects in the O2C domain.
- Ensures stable and efficient order-to-cash operations with minimal disruption to business users across regions.
- Acts as a trusted bridge between Finance and IT, ensuring business needs are translated into effective system solutions.
- Proactively identifies and leads process and system improvements that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and shorten billing/revenue cycles.
- Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and communication while supporting global teams in a hybrid, evening-shift model.
