Overview:

The Express Monitoring & Speaker Training Consultant is responsible for providing real-time operational support for virtual and hybrid events. This role focuses on live event execution, event monitoring, and speaker readiness, ensuring that events run smoothly from pre-event preparation through live delivery.

The consultant will collaborate with event organizers, speakers, and internal teams to conduct pre-event technical checks, initiate and manage event start/stop processes, and monitor live sessions. Additionally, the role includes training presenters and moderators on event console functionalities to ensure they are fully prepared to deliver their sessions effectively.

This position requires strong communication, troubleshooting, and live operations management skills, along with the ability to remain calm and proactive in time-sensitive environments.


In This Role, You Will:

Key Responsibilities

Live Event Monitoring & Support

  • Provide real-time operational support during live virtual and hybrid events using event monitoring tools.
  • Monitor event sessions, attendee participation, and platform performance to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of support for live event troubleshooting, quickly identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Ensure proper execution of event start and stop procedures according to the event agenda and client instructions.

Pre-Event Coordination & Technical Checks

  • Conduct pre-event calls with clients, hosts, and speakers to review event flow, technical requirements, and session management procedures.
  • Perform technical checks to ensure audio, video, screen sharing, and presentation materials function properly before the event begins.
  • Validate event settings and confirm that all necessary configurations are ready for live execution.

Speaker & Presenter Training

  • Deliver training sessions for speakers, moderators, and event hosts on how to use the event console and presentation tools.
  • Guide presenters on best practices for screen sharing, audience interaction, and managing Q&A or chat features.
  • Conduct rehearsal sessions and mock runs to ensure speakers are confident using the platform before going live.

Event Operations Management

  • Manage the live event workflow, ensuring sessions start and end according to the planned schedule.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and internal support teams when escalations are required.
  • Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders during live events to provide updates and support.

Client Experience & Communication

  • Serve as a trusted advisor during live events, ensuring client confidence in event execution.
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to speakers and hosts throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure while handling high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Document all client interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in CRM or internal systems.
  • Capture insights and feedback from live events to improve operational processes and future event delivery.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting best practices and troubleshooting solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience required 5-7 years
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Experience in virtual event management, technical support, or SaaS client services.
  • Familiarity with webinar platforms, event consoles, and live event monitoring tools.
  • Prior experience providing speaker or presenter training for online platforms.
  • Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
