Cvent's Enterprise Services team is seeking an Automation Engineer to drive our enterprise automation initiatives and technical solutions. This role combines strong software development skills with deep systems integration expertise to build scalable solutions that support our growing enterprise technology ecosystem.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design and develop automation solutions using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern development frameworks.
- Build and maintain enterprise applications using platforms like Superblocks and n8n, integrating with internal APIs and services.
- Develop and implement workflow automation across multiple enterprise systems (Okta, Workday, Confluence, Jira, etc.).
- Develop AI-powered tools and integrations, including chatbots and intelligent assistants for internal processes.
- Create and maintain serverless functions, using tools like AWS Lambda and cloud-based automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to automate business processes and eliminate manual workflows.
- Mentor team members and promote automation best practices across the organization.
- Serve as a translation layer between complex business challenges and technical solutions.

- Strong programming experience in Python with demonstrated ability to build production applications.

- Experience with enterprise identity and access management systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control (Git/GitHub).
- Experience with database design and SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
