Cvent is going through a cloud transformation and the Cloud Infra team is at the forefront of it. We are responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of various cloud automation platforms leveraged by Cvent’s Technology organization for delivering Cvent products to our customers. We help create and implement standards while facilitating an agile and learning culture. Overall, we’re passionate about automation and solving complex business and technology challenges. Cloud Infra combines DevOps, software development and information security knowledge to help make Cloud operations agile, elastic inside the security and governance framework boundaries. Our tools enable Cvent developers to deliver product features quickly while keeping our organization’s security, audit and governance requirements fully satisfied.

What You will be doing:

• Develop and maintain tools to enhance infrastructure services deployment and automation for on-prem and cloud (AWS)
• Design, deploy and maintain AWS native services like EC2, EBS, CloudFront, S3, ECS, Cloudwatch, AWS-Config
• Work on initiatives like AWS Cost Optimization, Standardization through CloudFormation, Usage and cost reporting and Uniform IAM policy management
• Help define, implement, maintain and automatically remediate tagging standards for various aws services (EC2, RDS, S3)
• Design cost/usage reports and publish dashboards to run AWS infrastructure in a highly efficient and cost-optimized manner
• Manage and maintain AWS and on-prem instances in hybrid cloud deployment
• Maintain highly available, high quality, healthy systems for production and staging environments \Improve employee productivity by reducing change and request fulfillment time for infrastructure changes
• Adhere to philosophy “Automate Everything”

• Know how of AWS public cloud services is preferred
• Scripting languages like Python, Groovy, PowerShell, Bash, Perl etc.
• Exposure to Windows, Linux administration skills
• Exposure to Datastore technologies like Postgres, MySQL, SQL, DynamoDB is desirable
• Familiarity with basic networking, security and cloud engineering concepts
• Embrace and focus on emerging technology and evangelize to the rest of the team
• Ability to plan, hold self and others accountable to SLAs, and follow-up with others
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skill
