Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Director/Senior Manager, Benefits & Wellness to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a best-in-class benefits and wellness experience that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent worldwide.
This position is responsible for the strategic oversight, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of global benefits and wellness programs. The successful candidate will provide both leadership oversight and individual contribution on all benefits and wellness programs, policies, and practices that enhance employee experience, supports organizational growth, and minimizes corporate risk.
The Director/Senior Manager, Benefits & Wellness will lead a team of HR professionals, partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and serve as a subject matter expert on US and international benefits, wellness initiatives, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a blend of visionary leadership, operational rigor, and a passion for enhancing employee well-being across diverse geographies.
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the design, implementation, and administration of global benefits and wellness programs—including health, retirement, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and holistic well-being initiatives—ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with Cvent’s values
- Lead the global benefits team, fostering a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Set clear goals, provide coaching, and ensure accountability for high-quality service delivery
- Develop and execute comprehensive wellness strategies that address physical, mental, and financial well-being, promoting a culture of health and resilience across the organization
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants. Manage performance, and ensure service excellence and cost-effectiveness
- Apply knowledge of Workday and other systems to leverage system capabilities and optimize benefits administration, leave administration, payroll reconciliation and reporting requirements
- Lead benefits communications and education initiatives, ensuring employees and managers are well-informed and empowered to make the most of their benefits and wellness resources
- Support M&A activities, due diligence, and integration of benefits programs for acquired entities, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent employee experience
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in each country of operation, proactively managing risk and maintaining robust governance practices
- Partner with Employee Resource Group leaders on benefits, engagement and wellness initiatives supporting employees while aligning organizational goals
Here's What You Need:
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on global benefits and wellness. Demonstrated experience leading teams
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvement, and high-impact employee experience initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence and the ability to drive change.
- Experience with HRIS/Workday and benefits administration platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to balance team leadership with hands-on management of key projects and deliverables.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree; HRCI or CBP certification preferred
- Past international experience helpful
