Cvent is offering multiple positions through our paid Technology Apprenticeship Program. This program is designed to provide real-world mentorship and experience to individuals coming from non-traditional education paths, who are eager to kickstart their career as a Software Engineer. Successful candidates will be located and working out of our HQ office in Tysons Corner, VA. We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position.
As a Software Engineer Apprentice, you will work closely with industry-leading professionals and contribute to the success of our software company. You will be assigned projects that align with our production schedules and operational needs, allowing you to gain extensive exposure to the technology department. This program not only supports your professional development but also opens doors to potential full-time employment with Cvent.
In This Role, You Will:
- Work on large-scale, cloud-based applications, with a focus on designing for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Customized training plan with a combination of self-guided and instructor-led training, allowing you to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Gain hands-on experience with various database technologies, spanning from traditional relational databases to the latest NoSQL products.
- Collaborate in an Agile, team-based environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve issues related to customer experience, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
- Analyze and assess the functionality of our web-based software platforms, mobile devices, and backend systems to drive improvements and optimizations.
Here's What You Need:
- Preference is given to candidates who have successfully completed a coding bootcamp, or comparable immersive program, or up to an associate degree in a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to effectively identify and address technical challenges.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work alongside senior team members and managers to enhance your professional development.
