The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced SaaS BDR Manager to lead our Commercial BDR Team that’s prospecting our Emma and Campaign Monitor platforms. You will take ownership of inbound and outbound performance, team development, and reaching pipeline targets. You’ll be responsible for coaching BDRs to exceed their goals, hire new talent, and continuously refine our allbound strategy.

Reporting to the VP of Commercial Business, you’ll be a driving force behind Marigold's overall pipeline growth that set up our Sales team to achieve their revenue targets. You will inherit a team of seasoned Marigold BDRs and help newer BDRs ramp up to consistent quota attainment. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Operations stakeholders to optimize prospecting efforts, report pipeline performance, and help develop new creative prospecting strategies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and inspire a team of ambitious BDR's

  • Run effective 1:1’s with your direct reports

  • Partner with Sales Enablement to iterate on talk tracks, cadences, and outbound strategy

  • Utilize & coach the team to most effectively use our tech stack (SFDC, Outreach, SalesNav, Zoominfo, 6Sense, ChatGPT)

  • Measure & report on BDR KPI’s across departments and leadership including outreach volume, meetings booked, and pipeline sourced

  • Develop and manage inbound & outbound prospecting plays/programs

About You:


You bring 3+ years of experience in Business Development, with your most recent role as a manager of a business development team. You know how to successfully lead remote teams, foster culture, and keep people accountable in a distributed environment. Data-driven and results-oriented, you have a strong understanding of both outbound and inbound metrics and the ability to take an existing playbook and maximize its impact.

California SB 1162 Pay Transparency Notice

In compliance with California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), we are disclosing the compensation range for roles that could be performed in California.

For California residents only, the base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annually. This role is also eligible for annual bonuses / commissions / other incentive compensation based on performance / sales targets / company results. For California residents, the expected range for this variable compensation is approximately $30,000 – $45,000 annually.

This range reflects the base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for the position in California. Actual compensation will be offered within this range, based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as permitted by California law.

Similar positions located outside of California may be subject to different compensation structures.
