The Role:

We are hiring an experienced US Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with state and federal labor laws and tax regulations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process and audit a multi-state US payroll using Workday

  • Participate in payroll support functions; calculate, review, and verify a variety of payroll data

  • Review and audit data quarterly and annually for tax filings and compliance

  • Partner with our Benefits team to ensure proper application, calculation and reporting of payroll benefits

  • Execute deadline driven tasks in a timely and effective manner

  • Research and resolve payroll questions through the company’s HR ticketing system

About You:
A Marigold Payroll Specialist is responsible for monitoring and maintaining payroll/tax regulations while utilizing payroll knowledge with a goal of improving processes and focusing on team growth. This person has meticulous attention to detail, integrity and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced, deadline driven, collaborative environment. This person enjoys learning, coaching other team members and helping colleagues have a clear understanding of their pay.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of Workday payroll experience required

  • High attention to detail with high degree of accuracy

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Strong administrative, organization and time management skills

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local regulations

  • Ability to adapt to change and adjust to the business needs

Nice to Have:

  • Global payroll experience

  • OSV and/or Cloudpay experience
