The Role
Marigold is looking for a dynamic Marketing Strategist to work with our top Fortune 500 clients across retail, travel, financial and media verticals in the APAC region. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, customer experience design, and marketing transformation engagements to drive positive business outcomes
What You’ll Do
Business and Team Leadership
Create practices, approaches, processes and documentation to deliver best in class Marketing Consulting. This includes creating a globally adaptable model, allowing for regional localization
Train, mentor, inspire, empower, and collaborate with a team of marketing experts, consultants, and analysts to drive client marketing strategy
Actively partner with business development and customer success teams to provide strategic advisory support to prospects and client engagements
Client Consulting
Lead client engagements, cultivating and nurturing the relationship to earn “trusted advisor” status with executive & C-Level client leaders
Master data storytelling by interpreting data and inspiring change that impacts both customer loyalty and ROI
Consult and drive clients through appropriate engagement models including Consumer Decision Journey, leveraging cross-channel marketing industry expertise and customer experience best practices
Lead & evangelize strategic frameworks to create channel agnostic contact strategies via targeting, segmentation, offers, messaging, testing, reporting, and analysis
Subject matter expert on vertical and/or channel, and the APAC region
Maintain recurring communications with customer teams at all organization levels
Work with internal cross-functional teams providing leadership into the creation of quarterly business reviews, industry benchmarks, holiday studies, client KPIs, and lifecycle marketing initiatives including acquisition, engagement, retention, loyalty and reactivation
Solutions Development and Sales Enablement
Design sales enablement materials and train Success & Sales organization on best tactics to sell Marketing Consulting solutions to clients and prospects
Scope & co-sell solutions to support enterprise Sales deals
Optimize and manage solutions that drive industry innovation, aligning offerings with client and market demand, including process to scale execution, deliverables, and supporting contract language
Thought Leadership & Public Speaking
Collaborate with the Global Content team to develop insight-driven thought leadership and positioning for the APAC region and within the digital marketing industry including quarterly benchmarks, best practices, and topical content marketing in the form of blogs, webinars and speaking engagements at conferences/events
Ideal Qualifications
7+ years in the field of Marketing or Management Consulting
Leader, collaborator, team-oriented with entrepreneurial spiri
Strong consulting, solution selling and presentation skills
Ability to interpret data to solve business problems
Experience designing and deploying marketing strategies within a real-time decisioning environment
Loyalty lifecycle marketing expertise, specifically program design and optimization
Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and key consulting frameworks and methods
Experience with marketing automation tools, system architecture diagrams and understanding data integrations and requirements for a given marketing strategy
Ability to facilitate working sessions and brainstorming exercises among clients and peers across all levels of an organization
Process-oriented thinker with a background in using frameworks and methodical steps to identify workstream approaches
Project planning and project management skills
Ability to synthesize complex concepts in simple terms
Strong oral and written communicator; ability to create high quality documents and deliverables using Google Suite and MS Office and other applications as needed
Analytically oriented with advanced Excel skills and comfort manipulating data to demonstrate visual trends in meaningful ways
Familiar with analytical techniques in support of cross-channel marketing including profiling, segmentation, analysis, and modeling
Experienced in identifying and documenting business requirements for new marketing programs
Familiar with best of breed marketing tools including business intelligence, campaign management, customer analytics, social media monitoring and content management
Advanced-level software knowledge including MS & Google Office Suite
