The Role:

As a Product Manager for Marigold, you will be responsible for managing assigned products throughout the Product Lifecycle. As a member of the Commercial Product Management team, you may work across multiple platforms and technologies.

You’ll be responsible for working directly with cross-functional teams across the organization to define, implement, launch, and maintain product offerings that drive business value for our customers. You should be a great communicator and able to adjust to a wide variety of audiences.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive the product planning process and define the requirements based on analysis of customer needs, internal stakeholder feedback, and current market trends.

  • Partner with Engineering to deliver solutions for customer problems that drive value for the customer and Marigold.

  • Evangelize the solutions developed internally and externally and document how to achieve results using these solutions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional product release workstreams to ensure successful adoption of the solutions.

  • Constantly assess the competitive landscape to ensure product capabilities map to both differentiation strategies and market requirements.

Who You Are:

  • You have familiarity in the digital marketing domain with past experience with email, text, chat, web, and mobile channels.

  • You are metrics-driven and have a passion for driving measurable success.

  • You are detail-oriented and take pride in the quality of your output, even when the activity seems mundane or repetitive.

  • You understand the challenges of digital marketing and the importance of utilizing data to measure the efficiency of marketing strategies.

  • You are familiar with product development processes such as agile and scrum, with prior experience partnering closely with engineering teams.

  • You have exceptional relationship management skills. You lead with empathy, and as a result, build authentic and trustworthy connections with both internal and external stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience as a product owner or product manager in a related industry.

  • Experience in the development or use of email marketing, marketing automation, and/or loyalty programs.

  • Prior SaaS development experience

  • B.S. (or equivalent) in communications, science, engineering, mathematics or computer science. Post-graduate degrees are a plus.
