Product Manager, Messaging

As a Product Manager for Marigold, you will be responsible for managing assigned products throughout the Product Lifecycle. As a member of the Commercial Product Management team, you may work across multiple platforms and technologies.
You’ll be responsible for working directly with cross-functional teams across the organization to define, implement, launch, and maintain product offerings that drive business value for our customers. You should be a great communicator and able to adjust to a wide variety of audiences.
What You’ll Do:
Drive the product planning process and define the requirements based on analysis of customer needs, internal stakeholder feedback, and current market trends.
Partner with Engineering to deliver solutions for customer problems that drive value for the customer and Marigold.
Evangelize the solutions developed internally and externally and document how to achieve results using these solutions.
Coordinate cross-functional product release workstreams to ensure successful adoption of the solutions.
Constantly assess the competitive landscape to ensure product capabilities map to both differentiation strategies and market requirements.
Who You Are:
You have familiarity in the digital marketing domain with past experience with email, text, chat, web, and mobile channels.
You are metrics-driven and have a passion for driving measurable success.
You are detail-oriented and take pride in the quality of your output, even when the activity seems mundane or repetitive.
You understand the challenges of digital marketing and the importance of utilizing data to measure the efficiency of marketing strategies.
You are familiar with product development processes such as agile and scrum, with prior experience partnering closely with engineering teams.
You have exceptional relationship management skills. You lead with empathy, and as a result, build authentic and trustworthy connections with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience as a product owner or product manager in a related industry.
Experience in the development or use of email marketing, marketing automation, and/or loyalty programs.
Prior SaaS development experience
B.S. (or equivalent) in communications, science, engineering, mathematics or computer science. Post-graduate degrees are a plus.
