As a part of our Release Automation team, the engineer will help accelerate safe and secure delivery of applications and services to our customers. The Dev tooling, DevOps and Release team assists traditional Development and Operations teams adopt techniques, tools, and a DevOps mindset to facilitate their daily operations.

Candidates need to have a strong experience in automation, CI/CD, and excellent knowledge of Cloud infrastructure in AWS. We are looking for someone who can design and maintain highly available infrastructure, an engineer that understands end to end (CI/CD) from coding to deployment and integration with operational tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in systems administration and automation combined with great communication skills to support the development teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage automation pipelines for operational workflows.

• Define and ensure the use of best industry practices

• Create tools, services, & scripts to automate day-to-day operations.

• Support Agile teams and help improve development velocity.

• Build and Deployment of product updates and fixes to all pre-production and production environments using our automated tools.

• Perform root cause analysis for build/deployment errors.

• Involvement in Architecture and Development design reviews for new implementation and integration projects.

• Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with other functional teams (Systems, Platform, DBA) to triage major issues across multiple services.

• Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly.

• Support production workloads.

• Mentor junior team members.

• On-call.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, of which at least 2 as a Senior.

• English proficiency.

• Strong work ethics, team spirit, and communication skills necessary to collaborate with international team members.

• Strong Linux skills.

• Strong AWS Experience.

• Experience supporting Windows environments (Server 2012+, and IIS).

• Proficiency with Git, Terraform, Kubernetes and at least one pipeline technology.

• Understanding of deployment models and tools and branching strategies.

• Truly enjoy working with technology and eagerness to learn.
