$200,000 - $230,000

Job Summary:

The Business Director works closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to manage the full product lifecycle, including go-to-market strategy, service delivery, product management, R&D, legal, finance, and commercial strategy. The role is responsible for the financial performance of a dedicated product or service, including revenue, bookings, and the commercial roadmap, while ensuring strong alignment between business objectives and market demand. Additionally, this role gathers market intelligence, monitors industry trends, and builds and maintains relationships with a network of external partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Elaborate and validate assigned product vision and strategy:

  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support product and business decisions.

  • Assist in defining market requirements for products, ensuring they align with company objectives.

  • Define competitive landscape and identify potential build, buy & partner opportunities to accelerate roadmap.

  • Support leadership in shaping product strategy to address industry and client needs.

Successfully execute programs:

  • Oversee assigned product roadmaps and program execution from concept to launch.

  • Contribute to revenue growth, and bookings, by aligning successful program execution and sales and delivery of product to the market.

  • Establish a network of partners, industry and/or sales-channel partners, to support the introduction, sales, implementation and adoption of the assigned set of products.

  • Build the Product Definition and work closely with Product Marketing and Commercialization teams on the segmentation, messaging, positioning, and pricing.

  • Establish and communicate timelines and resource implications tied to major initiatives.

  • Serve as a cross-functional leader and point of contact with other teams/ stakeholders across business unit and corporate groups.

  • Collaborate with the multiple functional teams to ensure programs are delivered to plan.

  • Work with Sr. Business Director, General Manager and Commercial Strategy, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to track pricing models

  • Monitor key performance metrics like market share, customer acquisition, and retention. and propose action plans to improve the reported metrics

Team Collaboration and Thought Leadership:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture

  • Promote collaboration across departments to achieve company objectives

  • Draft and present business plans for identified business opportunities to Sr. Business Director, General and other key stakeholders

  • Support the creation, publication and presentation of thought leadership content, including webinars, articles and whitepapers

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. Master's degree and asset

  • 7+ years of experience in business strategy, product marketing, or related roles.

  • Understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.

  • Experience working with pricing models and go-to-market strategies.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Domain knowledge and expertise either in technology or in the commercial real estate industry preferred.
