Job Summary:

Altus Group is currently seeking a skilled Office Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and support the smooth functioning of our office. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining a positive and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages operating budget and oversees inventory and budgetary controls for office, including processing of office specific invoices.

  • Manages vendors and suppliers for office.

  • Order and maintain inventory of kitchen and other supplies.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the office, answering the telephone, responding to email and correspondence, coordinating deliveries and shipments.

  • Receive visitors and new hires including management of office access card system and reporting.

  • Partner with manager and communications team in execution of various employee engagement initiatives including planning office events and ordering catering for in office meetings as required.

  • Ensure office and meeting space is operational at all times including overseeing technology and partnering with IT service desk for troubleshooting.

  • Ensure the office remains well maintained and in good repair, liaising with building management as required.

  • Manage Health & Safety Requirements of office.

  • Support Senior Manager and facilities team with office move/retrofit/construction projects for office.

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience working in office management/reception

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications is required, specifically Outlook, Excel & Word

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the organization

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure

  • Takes initiative with a proactive approach, is a self-starter who is resourceful and creative

  • Exceptional ability to create a welcoming and energetic vibe in-office
