Altus Group is looking for a Consultant to join our Memphis office (Hybrid work available). In this position, you will be responsible for completion of independent data analysis that allows others to analyze results and determine scope/direction of a project.

Altus Group is looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Memphis office (Hybrid work available). In this position, you will be responsible for completion of independent data analysis that allows others to analyze results and determine scope/direction of a project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and extract data from various data sources

• Conduct independent analysts of data to assist with scope definition, appeal determination and project completion

• Build expertise in searching several database tools

• Extract and organize relevant data points into a standard, ingestible format

• Review rental information and property operating statements. Confirm real property rental and sales information” Assist in the creation of appeal packages for a variety of property types and across jurisdictions

• Analyze and rebut packages produced by the jurisdictions

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in real estate, business, finance, or related field preferred

• 2-5+ years of work experience in appeals and hearings

• Experience with Excel

• Strong technical skills, resourceful, self-learner

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Interested or has working knowledge of the commercial real estate market

• Working knowledge of Real Estate Tax Valuation and Appeal practices
