Job Summary:

The applicant should have no less than 3 year’s experience in this role and have a wide range of Agency and Client contacts throughout industry.

The Head of Sales is responsible for booking agency showreel meetings and bringing in scripts for our roster of Directors. Liaising with our roster of Directors, providing feedback and strategic planning is essential. Searching for new talent to join our evolving roster is also an important part of the day to day role.

Working closely with our PR and Comms department ensuring the work that we do is in line with the strategic direction of the company and everything we produce is communicated through our social media channels on time.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business

  • Book agency showreel appointments across UK and Amsterdam with the aim to bringing in production briefs for our roster of Directors.

  • Network with Advertising Agency/ Brand creatives and producers, maintain and build new relationships through the business.

  • To develop Strategic and targeted sales approach for individual Directors

  • Good use of Wiredrive and an understanding of building specific showreels to help bring in scripts

  • Keep advertising database, website and Wiredrive up to date with help from the Department Assistant.

  • Be proactive in looking for new talent.

  • Seek to be part of judging panels and ensure Pulse has voice through regular press releases.

  • Awareness and research for competitive work and agency account wins/moves as well as new agencies.

  • Keep log of Pulse Director board flow – pitched/won and lost with help of Department Assistant.

PR

  • Strategise with our PR and Comms department to build on the Pulse brand and the work our Directors are doing.

  • Liaise with and build relationships with journalists and key people at main industry publications; Shots, LBB, Campaign. Provide new work and articles on Directors.

  • Mail out new work to agencies and trade publications.

  • Align with head of Comms to Announce new signings to the press and our new work.

  • Arrange screenings for our Directors films.

Marketing and Awards.

  • To work closely with our department assistant to submit all award entries.

  • To understand the business as a whole and raise profile in new territories.

Salary subject to previous experience in role and performance benefits and bonus to negotiate.
