Role x You:

As a copywriter you will bring strong concepting and a storytelling background. You will be someone who wants something a little different from the traditional agency world. Someone who has genius ideas and the passion and knowledge to turn them into concepts, get them sold and make them a reality.

In the short term…

You would be expected to contribute to ideation requirements, craft copy as required, build a rapport within the team and work towards understanding the nuances of the brands on our roster.

After 6 months in this role…

You would be conversant with client expectations on our roster of brands, be able to take initiative and lead on certain smaller projects and be able to contribute usefully to ideation requirements.


  • Ideation, development and implementation of creative concepts across all media channels

  • Develop creative concepts and 360° campaigns in collaboration with the Creative Leads to ensuring high quality, on-brief and impactful work with storytelling at its core

  • Create headlines, short and long copy, claims, campaign manifestos, film treatments and scripts

  • Help build presentation structure and narrative

  • Ensure content is innovative, on-brand and consistent with VIRTUE’s values

  • Take on pitches and projects and own your work from start to finish

  • Collaborate with Strategy, Project Management, Client Services and Production throughout the entirety of ever project

  • Manage and work – sometimes independently and under tight deadlines – while juggling multiple projects

You have these:

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience as a Creative/Copywriter in an advertising agency or start-up

  • Smart, bold, creative thinking and a “culture-nerd” mentality

  • Ability to write, communicate and present

  • A flawless command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar

  • Desire to create successful, culturally relevant content

  • Passion, positivity and drive

  • Appreciate a borderless and diverse collaboration across the Globe

  • A forward-thinking and socially-conscious perspective

  • Ability to work both independently or with a team

  • Experience balancing several projects at once with tight deadlines

  • Deep knowledge and interest in digital media, social media and content

  • Proficiency in Google Slides and Keynote

  • Web3/ NFT interest a plus
