About the Role
Supply Chain Manager manages all aspects of the organization's supply chain management, including procurement, vendor relations, fulfillment, production, logistics, distribution, packaging and professional services both domestically and internationally. Supply Chain Manager develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to ensure resource requirements are satisfied.
The person in this position will play a major hands-on role in the overall success of the Operations Team, Improving Productivity, and efficiency, reducing costs and securing high -quality materials/devices for the company with the goal of creating exceptional customer service.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for use of ERP & CRM systems and demand forecasting models to ensure on-time availability of all manufacturing supplies and components, also driving efforts to significantly improve physical inventory management practices and accuracy. This position interfaces regularly with representatives from Manufacturing, Quality Esurance, Finance, Sales and Marketing.
The supply chain manager is responsible for all aspects of; fulfillment of products, communication with vendors for white glove implementation and services (domestic and international) Coordinations and scheduling installations between customer and vendor. Monitor and review completion of services provided with the highest quality and exceptional customer experience.
Work with Product, Engineer departments and vendors/ manufacturers to create new hardware for quality improvements, supply chain challenges or business needs.
This role is located in our Vilnius office and is expected to be in four days a week.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations
- Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring, and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
- Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
- Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
- Managing inventory, packaging, and distribution
- Develop accurate demand forecasts of all line items for their accountable segment of the business by using a combination of statistical forecasting integrated with insights gained via partnering with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance departments
- Ensure consistent integration into the forecast of customer insights, base business trends, promotional plans, new item volumes, volume with the goal of reducing working capital and minimizing forecast error
- Analyze, maintain, and modify key item-level system replenishment settings such as minimum ship quantity and shipment increment
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
- Acts as part of the team coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business
- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, delivery, and returns (RMA) on products
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency within supply chain operations
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to propel the organization to decision and action while building lasting relationships with people all over the world and quickly - Identifying and driving adoption of Key Performance Indicators as they apply to Supply Chain success, as well as providing input to KPIs as they apply to Manufacturing success
- Management of supplier relationships and development of partnerships to ensure efficient use of resources and effective material and component supply practices
- Arranging International shipments and verifying accuracy of all documentation
- Build fulfillment facility internationally if needed
- Schedule and execute periodic evaluations to ensure vendors are adhering to pricing contracts and agreements
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business or a Supply Chain related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal form
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics
- Supply chain: 2 years (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Supply chain management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Freight forwarder: 1 year (Preferred)
