About the role
The Associate Director of Network Contracting and Services the contracting and provider services functions. This role is responsible for overseeing provider contracting operations in designated regions, negotiating and managing provider agreements, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance provider relationships and network performance. The Associate Director will manage a team of contracting specialists and provider services, ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, and work cross-functionally to meet financial, quality, and access goals.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $144,000 - $189,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and own execution of contracting strategies in partnership with Market Leaders that align with the company's overall network development and cost management objectives.
- Lead negotiations with healthcare providers, ensuring that all contracts meet regulatory requirements and organizational standards, collaborating with legal and compliance teams as needed.
- Handle complex contracts with large providers or high-impact providers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with providers to promote network stability, satisfaction, and high-quality care.
- Monitor provider performance on quality, utilization, and cost-effectiveness, using data and insights to help providers meet network goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of contracting specialists and provider relations staff, ensuring high performance and alignment with departmental objectives.
- Implement contracting policies and workflows; ensure effective and efficient contracting processes are in place.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure effective contracting processes and seamless provider services.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare contracting, in addition to provider relations and/or network management
- 4+ years leadership experience

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
