About the role
The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and Decentralized Learning supports our teams in driving a best-in-class, service-focused operation by designing, guiding and assessing the effectiveness of the use of operational frameworks and ideologies. You will report to the Associate Director, Center of Excellence.

This is a hybrid role in our Tempe, Arizona office. You will work part of the time in the office and part of the time remote / work-from-home. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $118,080 - $154,980 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the important skills necessary to support a best-in-class lean operation while influencing future decisions
- Anticipate and prevent recurrence of complex problems and roadblocks
- Create routines that drive collaboration within and outside of department
- Establish a vision of clarity and ensure stability and scalability within the direct area of influence
- Demonstrate the proper approach with implementation of Continuous Improvement Tools both internal to our organization and in consideration of industry best practices
- Develop and implement core metric tracking and tool use present in a LEAN-based operational environment
- Provide direction, mentorship, and influence regarding the necessity of process improvement work
- Maintain appropriate bench strength and develop organizational talent through clear goals and healthy accountability
- Demonstrate substantial levels of adaptability in a place of ambiguity
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience coaching and managing large teams
- 5+ years experience using metrics to drive process and program improvements
- 4+ years experience working in a collaborative environment with a diverse set of people
- 4+ years experience implementing operational excellence- LEAN, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodsBonus pointsBonus Points
- Experience working with teams in multiple locations and within multiple disciplines
- Prior healthcare or health insurance-related experience
- Experience with facilitating, presenting to, and training senior-level leaders
- Experience leading change management
- Advanced Google Suite or Microsoft Office capabilities
- Total Quality Management System experience or ASQ Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree
- Operational Excellence Certification (Lean Six Sigma)

Pay Transparency:
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
