Position Summary
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception through completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception through completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities associated with assigned projects
- Monitor and take full ownership of project budgets
- Develop layout drawings, material lists, and purchase orders
- Coordinate project schedules with general contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure electrical and instrumentation installations meet required standards
- Oversee on-site operations and project execution
- Attend pre-planning, pre-construction, and turnover meetings
- Develop timelines, labor plans, and material coordination strategies
- Manage all project documentation, including:
- Submittals
- RFIs
- Change orders
- Labor and material budgets
- Communicate project progress and updates to leadership
- Ability to manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and instrumentation systems, codes, and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including subcontractors and field staff
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maximize resources
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes
- Strong negotiation skills for handling change orders, pricing, schedules, and disputes
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA and industry standards
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical project management (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Experience managing projects valued between $5M-$10M
- Strong experience with:
- RFIs
- Change orders
- Scheduling and Client planning
- Material procurement and management
- Submittals
- Journeyman electrical license in the state of operation (or reciprocal states)
