Position Summary
The TIG Welder is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of custom enclosures and metal components, ensuring precision, strength, and durability. This role involves working with aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel to meet strict specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.

The TIG Welder is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of custom enclosures and metal components, ensuring precision, strength, and durability. This role involves working with aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel to meet strict specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Client out, fit, and connect parts to be welded, including calculating measurements
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components
- Troubleshoot welding machine issues as needed
- Assemble, align, and secure workpieces using fixtures prior to welding
- Inspect and test completed welds to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required
- Perform additional shop duties such as cutting, assembly, or kitting
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures, including proper PPE usage
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and adhere to maintenance schedules
- Cross-train and assist in other shop functions as needed
- Ability to perform various TIG welding techniques and joints
- MIG welding experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school certification in welding preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
- Prolonged standing, walking, and/or sitting
