Posiiton Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to perform Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) procedures on a per diem / part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging, patient care, and technical equipment operation. As an ESWL technician, you will be responsible for preparing and executing non-invasive procedures to treat kidney stones and other calculi using shock wave technology, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal treatment outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for ESWL procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them appropriately.

Operate ESWL equipment safely and effectively under supervision and according to protocols.

Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring proper alignment and comfort.

Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.

Assist in routine equipment maintenance and calibration.

Follow safety, infection control, and patient care protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Fully Licensed Radiologic Technologists (RTs) in the state of CA (can use FLOUROSCOPY)

Interest in healthcare or medical technology (training will be provided; prior ESWL experience is not required).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently after training.

Basic understanding of anatomy or medical terminology.

Willingness to travel is a plus.

Flexibility to occasionally support other ESWL accounts is a plus.

Schedule & Locations

Approx. 14 days per month

Work performed at local medical facilities or surgery centers

Occasional opportunities to support nearby locations in the Northern (Folsom, Fresno & Redding CA)

Compensation

Competitive per diem / $700 daily rate (based on experience)
