Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our product team. The role requires collaboration across Design, Engineering (SE), QA, and Technical Writing teams to deliver high-quality product features. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile methodologies, Jira, product documentation, requirement writing, and testing, and be comfortable managing workstreams across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product Leadership and stakeholders to define product goals, roadmap, and priorities.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and maintain product backlog using Jira, ensuring clear prioritization and visibility.
- Drive execution in an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams:
- Design Team for UI/UX alignment
- Software Engineering (SE) for development delivery
- QA for test strategy, validation, and defect resolution
- Technical Writers for product documentation and release notes
- Oversee and support product testing, including functional testing, UAT, and quality checks.
- Ensure all deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
- Track progress, identify risks, and coordinate resolution across multiple teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation and process flows.
- Continuously gather feedback and drive product improvements and enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in Product Management / Associate Product Management / Business Analysis roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira (or similar Agile tools).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Proven experience in writing requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, QA, Technical Writing).
- Experience managing multiple projects/teams simultaneously.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management and release processes.
- Hands-on experience in product testing and validation.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on digital products, platforms, or SaaS solutions.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design collaboration tools (e.g., Figma).
- Exposure to QA processes, test cases, or automation frameworks.
- Basic understanding of technical architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
