Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Generate new business within the assigned territory
- Build and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting and referrals
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Deliver executive-level presentations and proposals
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to track activity and performance
- Lead client relationship management and retention strategy
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with internal teams to support deal strategy and execution
- Maintain accuracy and professionalism in all client deliverables
- Proven success in B2B consultative sales (insurance, PEO, HCM, payroll, or similar preferred)
- Strong track record of closing high-value deals
- Experience with self-funded and fully insured products is highly valued
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of professionalism, ownership, and accountability
- Ability to build long-term client relationships
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
