We are looking for an HR Generalist to join a dynamic People Operations team. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to managers, support employees across the organization, and help drive a people-first culture across the Netherlands and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & HRIS
- Manage day-to-day HR activities for employees in the Netherlands and Belgium
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems (including BambooHR)
- Improve HR processes through automation and system optimization
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support payroll coordination across NL and BE
- Manage employee benefits such as insurance and pensions
- Partner with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent
- Source, screen, and guide candidates throughout the hiring process
- Handle absenteeism cases in compliance with Dutch regulations
- Support employee development and performance conversations
- Drive engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture
- 2-5 years of experience in a general HR role (international exposure is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, absenteeism)
- Solid understanding of Dutch labor law (Belgian law is a plus)
- Bachelor-level education or equivalent experience
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
- Willingness to work onsite in Veenendaal 2-3 days per week
