Maintain & Optimize Equipment Performance

What You'll Do
Maintain & Optimize Equipment Performance
- Execute preventive maintenance and calibrations on plasma systems (PECVD, ICP, RIE, IBE)
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, vacuum, and RF system issues
- Perform equipment startup, qualification, and recovery with strong focus on safety and process integrity
- Respond rapidly to tool alarms and system failures, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput
- Partner with equipment and process engineers on experiments, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support robotic wafer handling systems, including alignment, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Contribute to process stability and yield improvement efforts
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and parts usage
- Manage spare parts and coordinate with vendors for field service support
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures and troubleshooting documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with EHS, cleanroom, and safety protocols, including handling hazardous systems
- Education: Associate's degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Experience: 3+ years in semiconductor, photonics, or precision manufacturing environments
- Strong troubleshooting expertise across electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and robotic systems
- Hands-on experience with plasma processing tools (PECVD, ICP, RIE, IBE, or similar)
- Solid understanding of RF systems, vacuum technologies, gas delivery, and motion control
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and leak detectors
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced production environment
