Position Summary
We are seeking a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead, develop, and scale a team of insurance producers in a fast-paced, growth-focused agency. This role is responsible for owning revenue results, building a performance-driven culture, and executing a repeatable sales system that delivers consistent month-over-month growth.
This is not a passive, sit-back-and-manage role. You will be on the front linescoaching daily, inspecting activity, and driving executionwhile building a team capable of exceeding aggressive targets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Performance
- Own team production goals (monthly, quarterly, and annual premium targets)
- Drive daily sales activity metrics: calls, quotes, binds, and close ratios
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and speed-to-close
- Hold producers accountable through structured daily and weekly check-ins
- Lead daily huddles and weekly 1:1 coaching sessions
- Provide real-time call coaching and role-play training
- Identify performance gaps and implement measurable improvement plans
- Onboard and train new producers using a defined, proven sales process
- Enforce CRM usage and pipeline management (AgencyZoom or similar)
- Track KPIs and maintain a weekly sales scorecard
- Optimize sales scripts, objection handling, and follow-up workflows
- Partner with agency leadership to refine and scale sales systems
- Assist with interviewing and hiring high-caliber sales producers
- Build and maintain a strong talent bench to support growth goals
- Develop a competitive, high-performance sales culture
- Team premium production

- Activity levels (calls, quotes, follow-ups)
- Pipeline volume and efficiency
- Producer ramp time and retention
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience (insurance experience preferred)
- Proven history of hitting or exceeding aggressive sales targets
- Strong coaching, accountability, and performance management skills
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
- High level of organization, urgency, and execution
- Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain quickly)
