This role follows a virtual-first adjusting model, leveraging advanced estimating technology, while also performing in-field inspections within an assigned territory. A company vehicle is provided, with potential travel outside the local area and CAT deployments as needed.

Our company is seeking a Field Property Adjuster Specialist to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex property insurance claims while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering empathetic, member-focused service.
This role follows a virtual-first adjusting model, leveraging advanced estimating technology, while also performing in-field inspections within an assigned territory. A company vehicle is provided, with potential travel outside the local area and CAT deployments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of complex property claims involving structural damage and potential legal liability.
- Conduct virtual and on-site inspections, prepare detailed estimates, and determine coverage and settlement values.
- Investigate losses, analyze policy provisions, identify SIU or subrogation opportunities, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Negotiate settlements within authority limits and collaborate with leadership on higher-exposure claims.
- Maintain accurate, compliant claim documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Act as a subject-matter resource for less experienced adjusters.
- Support CAT response, including on-call duties, travel, and extended work hours when required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of moderate-complexity property claims adjusting experience.
- Advanced estimating expertise using Xactimate or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience managing high-severity property losses (fire, water, vandalism, collapse, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of residential construction, policy interpretation, and state regulations.
- Active adjuster license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Willingness to travel 50-75% of the year and support CAT events.
- Residential field adjusting experience including ALE.
- Additional estimating/virtual inspection tools (ClaimXperience, XactAnalysis).
- Insurance designations (AINS, CPCU, AIC, SCLA).
