Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Architect with strong onsite coordination experience to support multiple active construction projects across Tampa, Orlando, and Titusville. This role blends field presence with technical expertise, including the ability to draft, seal, and stamp drawings. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detailoriented, and comfortable working directly with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is executed accurately in the field.

This is a handson position for an architect who thrives in fastpaced environments and enjoys bridging the gap between design and construction.

Key Responsibilities

OnSite Coordination & Field Support

  • Conduct regular site visits across Tampa, Orlando, and Titusville.
  • Serve as the primary architectural liaison for contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
  • Review construction progress for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Identify field issues and provide timely architectural solutions or clarifications.
  • Participate in site meetings, inspections, and punchlist walkthroughs.

Drafting, Design, and Technical Documentation

  • Prepare, revise, and finalize architectural drawings and construction documents.
  • Stamp and seal drawings as required for permitting, construction, and compliance.
  • Draft scopes of work, technical specifications, and project schedules.
  • Produce detail drawings, redlines, and fielddriven revisions.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants to ensure cohesive documentation.

Project Coordination, Reporting & Compliance

  • Support permitting processes and respond to plan reviewer comments.
  • Prepare project coordination materials, including progress reports, updates, and documentation for leadership.
  • Track field conditions, schedule impacts, and design changes, ensuring timely communication to internal teams.
  • Ensure all drawings and documents meet applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation for each project site.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Architect (RA) in the state of Florida (required).
  • 37 years of architectural experience, including construction administration or field coordination.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related drafting software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Tampa, Orlando, and Titusville project sites.
  • Experience working directly with contractors in the field is strongly preferred.
