Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with aggressive revenue goals, including a plan to support the goal of doubling sales in the next 12 months.
- Define and strengthen the company's market positioning, value proposition, and brand identity.
- Build short-term wins while setting up long-term scalable systems for sustainable growth.
- Partner with executive leadership to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, product roadmap, and company priorities.
- Establish and maintain annual marketing budget
- Own lead generation strategies across digital, outbound, partner, and channel marketing.
- Stand up and enhance key marketing systems (website, CRM integrations, email automation, analytics).
- Establish KPIs, track ROI, and consistently optimize performance across channels.
- Build campaign strategies to target priority markets: utilities, industrials, EPCs, distributors, renewable developers, and service providers.
- Oversee and optimize the company's website, messaging, and UX to position the company as an industry leader.
- Manage SEO, content marketing, social media, and paid campaigns to increase visibility and brand trust.
- Develop compelling product and technical content (case studies, sales enablement materials, landing pages, video, etc.).
- Manage third-party vendors, including digital agencies, creative partners, SEO firms, and freelancers.
- Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure external resources deliver high-impact results within budget.
- Build a reliable, scalable vendor ecosystem that allows the company to operate with a lean internal team.
- Create efficient marketing processes, reporting systems, and workflows that maximize output per dollar.
- Oversee CRM data hygiene, segmentation, and lead workflow alignment with the sales team.
- Maintain tight control of the marketing budget with a performance-first mindset.
- Identify market trends, competitive threats, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of industry shifts.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or other related field.
- 7-12+ years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, electrical, or related technical fields.
- Proven success leading marketing strategy in a high-growth or challenger brand environment.
- Demonstrated ability to scale demand generation programs from the ground up.
- Strong experience partnering with and managing third-party vendors/agencies.
- Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable with performance marketing KPIs.
- Experience running lean teams and budgets without sacrificing output or impact.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on ability to execute — comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
- Experience in transformers, electrical products, power systems, or industrial engineering technologies.
- Familiarity with utilities, EPCs, industrial buyers, or commercial development industries.
- Experience in CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
- Background in branding, product positioning, or technical messaging.
