Position Summary
As a Staff II Accountant, you will be a key player in delivering best-in-class service. You won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be building relationships and solving complex f inancial puzzles.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Engagements: Assist with client audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements and detailed disclosures.
- Tax Preparation: Manage the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Client Relations: Act as a primary point of contact, maintaining strong relationships through proactive communication.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- Experience: 2+ years of recent public accounting and auditing experience (strongly preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel is a must).
- o Bonus points for experience with ProSystem Engagement, PPC Smart
- Tools, ProSystem Fx Tax, or QuickBooks.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with a "customer-centric" interpersonal approach.
- Mindset: A self-motivated team player with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
