Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and career-oriented Podiatrist (DPM) to join our growing multi-location practice in Southwest Florida. This is a full-time opportunity for a provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while building a long-term professional home within a collaborative medical environment.
The ideal candidate is confident in both clinical and procedural podiatric care, demonstrates strong documentation and billing accuracy, and is comfortable practicing across multiple locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive podiatric care in outpatient and clinical settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions
- Deliver high-quality wound care, including chronic and complex wounds
- Perform exploratory and minor surgical procedures within scope of practice
- Administer therapeutic and diagnostic injections
- Utilize and interpret diagnostic ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions
- Prescribe and manage physical therapy plans
- Evaluate, prescribe, and manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Hospital Responsibilities
- Participate in shared hospital call coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with hospital staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Documentation & Billing
- Accurately and timely complete all medical documentation in the EHR
- Demonstrate working knowledge of current CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Ensure documentation supports medical necessity, compliance, and billing accuracy
- Work collaboratively with billing and compliance teams to reduce denials and errors
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain the highest standards of quality patient care and safety
- Adhere to all federal, state, and payer regulations
- Follow practice protocols, policies, and evidence-based guidelines
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives when applicable
Schedule & Locations
- Full-time hours
- Coverage across multiple Southwest Florida locations

Education & Experience
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited institution
- Active (or ability to obtain) Florida podiatry license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Board qualified or board certified preferred
