Job Overview~ We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney with 3-5 years of courtroom or litigation experience; family law experience is preferred but not required. The role involves negotiating, legal research, drafting documents, and court appearances. Collaboration with the managing attorney and clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities~

  • Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support issues
  • Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw
  • Draft and file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
  • Negotiate settlements advocating for client interests
  • Stay current on laws and regulations affecting family law
  • Collaborate on complex family law cases
  • Provide guidance on divorce, custody, and support matters
  • Litigate in court as needed
  • Maintain strong client communication and support throughout legal processes

Qualifications~

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience
  • Strong negotiation skills with a record of successful settlements
  • Proficient in legal research and writing, familiar with Westlaw
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
  • Ethical commitment to client service and legal practice

Work Environment~

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
  • In-person position in Doylestown, PA
