Position Summary

Temporary Employee on assignment at Pure's Food Specialties, LLC (Pure's) located in Broadview, Illinois, you will be assigned to a packaging line in the facility. The Packaging Associate will provide operations of packaging lines under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate line to the highest level of efficiency;
• Ensure all packaging equipment is in operational condition;
• Comply with company safety policies and ensure safe conduct;
• Help each employee receive breaks and return from breaks at the correct time;
• Report to the Supervisor any instances of disorderly conduct;
• Understand and follow the daily production schedule;
• Ensure quality guide lines for products are being followed;
• Ensure all FDA and company guidelines are being followed;
• Assist with Continuous Improvement
• Follow all LOTO guidelines;
• Review and assist with all quality control documents in the packaging department;
• Help ensure and facilitate an EEO compliant working environment.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to operate a Pallet Jack.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for a continuous 8 hour shift.
• Operate a Computer-Label Maker.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Previous experience operating packaging machines is a plus.
