Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily flow of materials and finished goods between King Street Pizza Company facilities. This includes driving company trucks between warehouses, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all products are properly organized, labeled, and documented in NetSuite. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory visibility, and efficient support of production and distribution activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily flow of materials and finished goods between King Street Pizza Company facilities. This includes driving company trucks between warehouses, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all products are properly organized, labeled, and documented in NetSuite. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory visibility, and efficient support of production and distribution activities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete all required transfer documentation and ensure compliance with DOT and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment at all times
- Ensure all products are clearly labeled, properly stored, and easily accessible
- Implement and maintain systematic layout and labeling to optimize space and accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with monthly inventory audits
- Ensure transfer orders between locations are created, processed, and closed properly.
- Reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Communicate with production and operations teams to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
- Safely operate company trucks to transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between production and warehouse locations.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts while maintaining product integrity and safety standards.
- Schedule and coordinate internal transfers to ensure timely delivery to production or outbound shipping
- Record and verify all material movements accurately in NetSuite.
- Assist in staging and preparing orders for outbound shipments as needed.
- Support quality and food safety initiatives by maintaining clean, compliant storage conditions.
- Report equipment issues, inventory shortages, or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing required.
