We are expanding and seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Civil Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for public and private sector projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to interpret plans and specifications with precision.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Review civil construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, grading, concrete, and related scopes.
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify risks, constructability issues, and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain accurate estimate documentation and assist with project handoff.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment on scope and pricing

• Strong understanding of site development, earthwork, underground utilities, and infrastructure
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and technical documents.
• Strong math, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education & Experience

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Estimating, or related field (preferred but not required).
• 35+ years of experience in civil construction estimating (preferred).
• Proficiency with estimating software Sage 100 Contractor & WinEx Master.
