Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, inprocess components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Document inspection findings in logs, reports, and quality records; communicate results to relevant departments.
- Identify product defects or deviations and recommend corrective actions to production and engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to implement quality procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits to support quality management system compliance.
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records for testing and inspection equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in quality management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Statistical Process Control SPC).
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001.
- Proficiency with inspection and testing equipment and software.
- Certification in quality control or quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
- Knowledge of advanced quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to assess product quality and identify deviations.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with production teams.
