About the role:

We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, this position owns the relationship for the Cedars-Sinai Connect partnership and serves as a critical interface between the K Health and Cedars-Sinai teams. This role functions as the liaison between K Health and Cedars-Sinai, leveraging both teams to advance CS Connect business needs and engaging with a broad set of stakeholders. This may include synthesizing, socializing, and developing K Health plans across marketing and product with Cedars-Sinai stakeholders. You will be working closely with executive leadership at K Health to build the business of CS Connect.

The Account Manager will own the end-to-end relationship with key stakeholders at Cedars-Sinai, and will support the Director of Corporate Development and Co-Founder in advancing the business. This role will require collaboration across different areas of the business within K Health including Finance, Clinical, Marketing, and Product/Engineering.

The role is based in the New York City area on a hybrid basis, with ~20% travel based on business needs

About the org:

As an Account Manager, you will be part of the Corporate Development organization. This organization is focused on three things: (1) building new partnerships, (2) deepening existing relationships, and (3) creating new business models. Our partnership efforts center primarily around health systems but may expand based on business model needs.

What you'll be doing:

An Account Manager will have the following core responsibilities across the life cycle of managing existing accounts, including:

  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key external stakeholders to advance partnership opportunities and problem-solve new business opportunities
  • Providing structure and process, both internally and externally, to advance projects in a timely and organized manner; drive complex project management on a day-to-day basis within Cedars-Sinai Connect
  • Communicating the value proposition of partnering with K Health, including demoing and describing the depth of K Health to relevant stakeholders (e.g., clinical, finance, IT, operations, strategy)
  • Creating and evaluating business plans for CS Connect in conjunction with Cedars-Sinai partners; including qualitative strategic plans as well as quantitative financial plans
  • Owning external reporting for ongoing governance committees, product release processes, and routine business metric updates
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis while synthesizing relevant information to support internal decision making and discussions with external stakeholders
  • Collaborating with program management to support implementation of new projects
  • Collaborating with business development to bring new business models, ideas, and opportunities to CS Connect
  • Leading internal efforts related to CS Connect

Additionally, an Account Manager will become experts in K Health’s offerings and partnerships model, with the following non-core responsibilities

  • Conducting market analysis to refine CS Connect’s partnership strategy
  • Supporting sourcing opportunities with potential partners via various channels, managing leads, and leading B2B marketing efforts
  • Participating in contract negotiations and conducting supporting quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Bringing new business models and business context to existing partnerships
  • Engaging with K Health’s clinical, product, and data science teams to maintain expertise in new developments surrounding K Health

What we're looking for:

  • 5-7+ years of work experience in a top strategy consulting firm (preferred), healthcare start-up, or health system
  • Bonus for experience in primary care, health system business development/partnerships, or new business ventures
  • Passionate about what we do at K Health
  • Excellent “client hands” with an ability to build relationships with and advance projects with external stakeholders of various backgrounds (e.g., clinical, finance, IT, digital, strategy, marketing)
  • Detail-oriented, owning all details and relationships related to CS Connect and using that information to relentlessly advocate for CS Connect across various settings
  • Ownership mindset, bringing initiatives you work on to a close and engaging the right stakeholders to make it happen
  • Top-notch organizational skills, able to balance multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders across domains
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with strong ability to synthesize multiple viewpoints into clear action
  • Structured problem-solving married with executional skills to take a vision and make it a business reality
  • Intellectual curiosity to dive into the intricacies of healthcare and learn from a variety of domains

  • Strong analytical skills, with mastery of Excel and proven experience with financial modeling / analysis

Compensation:
$140,000$160,000 USD

We offer competitive compensation packages based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise.
